🧠 Epistemic Conversations With Marie
Collaborative sensemaking for people who want clarity rather than expertise.
I do not approach this work as a coach, specialist, or authority. I am not here to diagnose, interpret, or guide you through a system I already understand. What I offer is direct, grounded conversation where we sit together and make sense of your internal world.
I use AI as part of my own thinking every day. It helps me translate what I see, articulate what I mean, and reduce cognitive load. I encourage clients to use AI between sessions for the same reason. This approach is not about mastery or expertise. It is about shared inquiry that is easier and clearer when supported by externalized thinking.
I did not write this page alone. AI helped me articulate it accurately. That transparency is part of the work.
🧭 How I Work
🔍 Reality focused, not expert focused
I do not show up with answers or frameworks. I show up as a clear adult who can sit with you as we name what is actually happening. We look at your lived experience directly and let clarity emerge from the conversation, not from preloaded interpretations.
🤖 AI assisted sensemaking
AI is woven into this method. It helps us capture thoughts, reveal patterns, find language, and keep continuity between sessions. You are encouraged to use AI on your own as well. This is not traditional coaching. It is a collaborative thinking partnership supported by modern tools.
🌿 Emotionally honest, not therapeutic
You can bring any emotion into the room. I treat emotions as information, not problems to solve. I do not provide therapeutic containment or modulation. We pay attention to what your emotional responses belong to and what shaped them.
🧱 Systems aware without claiming authority
We can explore how your history intersects with religion, family systems, patriarchy, capitalism, neurodivergence, or cultural dynamics. I am not an expert in these domains. We approach them together with curiosity and grounded observation.
🤝 Equal to equal
There is no hierarchy in this relationship. I am not evaluating you or managing you. We are two adults looking at the same material. You bring your lived context. I bring clarity, pattern recognition, and a refusal to soften reality. AI helps us articulate what we see.

• cognitive style and self understanding
• developmental history and family systems clarity
• religious environments and meaning loss
• derealization, dissociation, and internal disconnection
• identity shifts and self recognition

🔎 What People Usually Leave With
• language for experiences they could never articulate
• a coherent understanding of their emotional responses
• a more accurate sense of their own story
• clarity that stabilizes rather than comforts
• tools for thinking with AI between sessions
• relief that comes from understanding, not being managed
This work is not about becoming a better version of yourself.
It is about becoming accurate with your life.
🧠 How to Prepare for a Session
🧭 Show up with something real
Bring whatever is actually happening in your mind or life.
Not what you think you’re supposed to talk about.
Not a curated version.
Just the part that feels active, confusing, or loud.
📍 Know what you want to look at
You don’t need a plan, but you do need a direction.
Something like:
• “I want to understand why this keeps happening.”
• “I want clarity on this relationship dynamic.”
• “I want to see my emotional pattern more clearly.”
• “I’m noticing a shift in myself and I don’t know what it is.”
The direction is yours to choose.
I’m not choosing it for you.
🧠 Use AI before the session if it helps you gather your thoughts
AI can help externalize what’s in your head:
• write a rough outline of what feels important
• articulate the questions you can’t quite name
• list moments or dynamics that feel confusing
• capture emotional spikes or patterns
This is not homework.
It’s optional scaffolding so your internal world isn’t scattered when we start.
📄 Bring notes if that stabilizes you
Some people bring bullet points, screenshots, or journal fragments.
Some bring nothing.
Both are fine.
Your prep is for you, not for me.
🧱 Don’t pre-interpret yourself
You don’t need to diagnose, summarize, or present yourself neatly.
Just bring the material.
We’ll make sense of it together.
🤝 Come as an equal adult
I’m not leading you through anything.
I’m not managing the session.
You’re not reporting to me.
We meet as two adults looking at the same thing.
