The bulk of today's rant is a rant with side rants about a particular rant when I realized I may rant too much.

After having a week to process the extreme stress removal moment of selling my house, I've begun to read "How to Do The Work" by Dr. Nicole LePera and am thinking a lot about childhood trauma, disconnection from the self, and how to get a chronically stressed nervous system to calm down.

This week I begin walking myself through my own life... something I haven't been able to do with the kind of coherency and continuity that I was able to today. As I enter into a new chapter of less scarcity and hustling, I consider how I got here and how long have I been trying to get here... and what to do now that I'm here? I disappeared for a couple of weeks due to hyperfocus getting my house ready to sell. Finally back up to breathe. Today I give a bit of an update on how I've been doing, how to slow down a runaway train, some shows on Netflix I've been crying to, and then I run away from a kayaker.

Returning from a roadtrip to visit partners, I have a lot I am digesting about interoception, the voice you hear in your head, developing the Sense of Self, and how culture/religion/etc. impacts our ability to understand our Selves.

I'm on a roadtrip to Chicago and Michigan to see my partners. Of course I'm going to use all that driving time to talk about shit. Today's episode I talk a lot about interoception, the ability to perceive our body's internal workings. It's a fascinating topic to me as I recover from trauma.
